User Names:
- When adding users, it's best to enter first and last names whenever possible, to avoid confusion if you have multiple users with the same first name.
- After a user has started their test, they can edit their name by editing the Display Name on their account. Any changes the user makes will be carried over to your Manage Tests page.
User Accounts:
When you add a user to your Manage Tests page, a Truity account is created for them. When the user uses the test link you've sent to them, they'll be prompted to enter a password for their account before being taken to the test.
- You do not need to have your users create their own account before they use the test link or provide them with login information.
- If you remove the user before they've been sent or taken a test, their account will be deleted.
- Users will be able to access their test results from their own account.
Users Must Use the Test Link to Take the Test :
Accessing the test through the test link that you provided to them is what links the user's test results to your account. If the user does not use the link, and instead takes a test in the same way that any individual user would, their results will be treated as such and won't be linked to your account.
- Users can also use the link in the green notification message (see Test Link Notification Message below) to take the test and their results will be linked to your account.
- Users who do not use the correct test link (either the one you sent to them or the link in the green notification message) to take a test will not have their test results upgraded immediately and you won't see that they've completed a test on your Manage Tests page. If this happens, please contact us for assistance.
Test Link Notification Message:
After you send a test to a user, a notification message will appear in the user's account (near the site header menu) letting them know that they've been sent a test and providing them with another test link.
- This message will appear on most pages of the site. If a user doesn't see it, they can click the Home link or the Truity light bulb to go to the main page of the site where they will see it.
- If a user is not able to finish their test the first time they go to the test, the next time they log into their account, they can use the test link in the notification message to go to their incomplete test.
- Once the user has completed the test, the notification will be removed.
Test Links Expire after Four Weeks:
Test links sent to users through your Manage Tests page will expire after four weeks. Sending the user a Reminder email to provide them with a new test link that will last for another four weeks.
