Most of our test questions fall into one of two styles: Multiple Choice and Likert Scales.
Multiple Choice Questions
For these questions, you'll be given a prompt and two or more possible options. Select the option that is the best fit for you.
For example, in the question above, you would select the donut type you are most likely to pick if given a choice between the three provided options.
Likert Scale Questions
These types of questions come in two formats:
Type 1: Two words or phrases with five circles or boxes in between them. Select the circle closest to the phrase that fits you best, taking into account the strength of your preference.
For example, in the question above:
- If you strongly identify with an Oatmeal cookie, you'd select the circle closest to Oatmeal.
- If you identify more with an Oatmeal cookie, but not to a large degree, you'd pick the 2nd circle to the right of Oatmeal.
- If you don't identify with either cookie or if you identify with both equally, select the middle circle.
- If you identify more with a Gingersnap cookie, but not to a large degree, you'd pick the 2nd circle to the left of Gingersnap.
- If you strongly identify with a Gingersnap cookie, you'd select the circle closest to Gingersnap.
Type 2: A phrase, activity, or statement above five circles representing a range between two stated options, such as Inaccurate vs Accurate, Like vs Dislike, Like Me vs Not Like Me, etc. Select the circle closest to the option you agree with the most, taking into account the strength of your preference.
For example, in the question above:
- If you hate cake and love pie, the statement is very inaccurate and you would select the circle closest to Inaccurate.
- If you occasionally prefer cake over pie, but not often, the statement is somewhat or mostly inaccurate and you would pick the 2nd circle to the right of Inaccurate.
- If you dislike cake and pie equally, love them both equally, or can't tell the difference between them, select the middle circle.
- If you often prefer cake over pie, but not always, the statement is somewhat or mostly accurate and you would pick the 2nd circle to the left of Accurate.
- If you love cake and hate pie, the statement is very accurate and you would select the circle closest to Accurate.
