Keep Your Test Code Details Secure
- Remember, anyone who has your login link and test code can access your test balance.
- Do not post your test code details on a public website. If you post them on an internal website, do your best to limit access or remove the info as soon as possible.
-
Monitor your Manage Tests page to make sure no unauthorized users have taken tests.
- As soon as someone uses your login link and test code, you'll see their name appear on your Manage Tests page. If you see a name and it is not an authorized user, you can cancel their test if they have not completed it yet.
- You can reset your test codes, so that any previously issued test codes will not work. To do this, go to the Setting tab in the Truity @ Work platform, scroll to the bottom of your list of test codes, and click the link to reset your test codes. All old test codes will be deactivated immediately.
- If you are concerned that some of your group may share your test codes with their friends or family, consider testing in smaller batches and then resetting the test codes after each batch of test-takers have completed their tests.
Tips to Pass on to Your Group
- Let them know that they need to use the link to go to our site. Once in a while, a test-taker will ignore the link and go straight to our site to take the test. If they do that, their test won't be included with your group.
- Have them enter their first and last names. Their name on your Manage Tests page will appear exactly as each person enters it. If they only enter first names or use all caps, that's what you'll see in your list of users.
- Tell them to be honest and candid with their test responses. Some users may worry that they'll be negatively impacted if they get "bad" test results. Let them know that there are no bad test results, just different styles and personalities.
- If they run into any trouble, they can contact Customer Service for general assistance. Note: In some rare cases, we may need your authorization before we can assist them.
